WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
CrossFit is a fitness method incorporating elements from several sports and types of exercise. It is self-defined as constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. This video sums up CrossFit well…
So it’s like the gym, except you keep coming back… It combines Olympic lifting, gymnastics, body weight movements and other forms of cardio, chucks it all into a workout and you go for it. You go through hell, but you do it together. And the strangest thing, you keep coming back. Try it!
CrossFit is a large part of my life, and has been for several years. Prior to setting up TG I was Head Coach at a CrossFit gym in Cardiff for over 5 years and coached part-time at a CrossFit gym in Bridgend.
Alongside coaching I also take part in fitness competitions at local and national levels in a team and as an individual.
Outside of CrossFit I like spending time with my family and friends. In my spare time, I take every opportunity to put my functional fitness to the test; I love being outside and exploring the beautiful Welsh landscape.
